School schedules are subject to change due to weather or other emergencies. SCCPSS will alert families of any change via the parent notifi cation system, social media and on sccpss.com. Dress Code SCCPSS requires all students in pre-K through 12th grade to wear a school uniform as identifi ed by the school they will attend. All schools allow khaki pants/shorts/skirts and white tops. Before- and After-School Care The public school system works with the YMCA of Coastal Georgia to pro- vide before-and after-school care at school facilities through the YMCA's Before & After School Enrichment Program (912-351-3622). Additionally, after-school programs through the public school system's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (912-395-5686) provide expanded academic enrichment opportuni- ties for children attending selected schools and their families. Tutorial services and academic enrich- ment activities are designed to help students meet local and state academic standards in subjects such as reading and math. The state mandates that these centers notify parents of communicable diseases, as well as regulate teacher-to-student ratios.
