26 SAVANNAHCHAMBER.COM Downtown NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK DISTRICT From Broughton Street lofts to Jones Street brownstones, this 2.2-square-mile district boasts secret gardens, art galleries, shops, cafes, museums and a tightly knit community of urban dwellers. EASTERN WHARF Rising on the east end of Savannah's Riverfront, this walkable community is home to the Thompson Savannah hotel, luxury townhomes, apartments and a large park that often hosts live music and other events.
