WATER
Savannah Belles Ferry*
CAT, in partnership with
the City of Savannah, also
operates the Savannah Belles
Ferry, a free water ferry
service between downtown
Savannah and Hutchinson
Island. The ferry arrives and
departs from the City Hall dock
on River Street, the Waving
Girl Landing at the Savannah
Marriott Riverfront, the
Savannah Convention Center
and The Westin Savannah
Harbor Golf Resort & Spa
every 15 to 20 minutes. The
service is available 7 a.m. to
10 p.m. daily. CAT recently
introduced two new hybrid
ferries, the Juliette Gordon
Low II and the Susie King
Taylor II, to its Savannah
Belles Ferry fleet. These
low-emissions vessels are
part of a broader initiative to
improve public transportation
and offer a sustainable
option for river crossings.
