The Port of Savannah The Port of Savannah is the largest single container terminal in the Western Hemisphere. In FY2025 it moved 5.7 million TEUs (Twenty Foot Equivalent Container Units), an increase of 8.6% when compared to the previous year. The Port of Savannah moved 22.3% of the East Coast container trade. The port handled 11.7% of all U.S. containerized exports in FY2025 (PIERS-Enterprise).
