The Port of Savannah The Port of Savannah is the largest single container terminal in the Western Hemisphere. In FY2023 it moved 5.4 million TEUs (Twenty Foot Equivalent Container Units), a decrease of 6.7% when compared to the previous year, all-time high. The Port of Savannah moved 22.1% of the East Coast container trade. The port handled 12.3% of all U.S. containerized exports in FY2023 (PIERS-Enterprise).
