13 Parking Parking is available throughout Savannah, with on street parking and parking garages. Parking is not available at the Savannah Convention Center for 5K and Double Pump participants. We have increased the number of trolleys to take participants to the 5K / Double Pump start line. Shuttles The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run provides complimentary trolley transportation to Hutchinson Island for the 5K and Double Pump start line. If you haven't already, we kindly suggest making a trolley reservation. If you haven't had the chance, we strongly encourage you to arrive as early as possible to ensure there's ample space for you on the trolley. Pickup will take place on Liberty St. near the Civic Center from 6:15 – 7:30 a.m. Shuttle Times: 6:15 a.m. - Trolleys Begin 7:30 a.m. - Trolleys Stop Running Water Ferries Complimentary water ferry services will be available on race morning. Two ferries will begin departing from the City Hall Dock on a rolling basis between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Please note that one ferry trip across the Savannah River takes approximately 10 minutes. Ferries will resume their regular operating hours at 8 a.m. Water ferry services are courtesy of Chatham Area Transit. Age Groups & Awards The list of age groups can be found at SavannahBridgeRun.com. We will do rolling award announcements, beginning at 9:15 a.m. for the 5K and Corporate Challenge winners. Followed by the 10K, Double Pump, and Costume Contest winners. Race Day Event Tips • Restrooms will be available at both start and finish lines. • Make sure your race number is pinned to the front of your shirt and visible. • 5K mile markers will be at mile 1 and mile 2. • 10K mile markers will be at miles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. • When you finish, keep moving. Do not stop, keep walking. • Get there early because the races will start on time! About the Talmadge Memorial Bridge • There is a 5.5% grade. • The climb is .7 miles. • The bridge was completed in 1991. • There is a 185-foot vertical clearance for ships to pass. • The width of the main span is 1,100 feet. • The two towers are each 480 feet tall.
