Cargo Year-end Totals have fallen by 12.4% and Aircraft Operations have fallen nearly 20% from 2019. These drastic decreases can be attributed to the Covid-19 virus and the subsequent lull in travel that came with it. Eight airlines provide direct nonstop flights every week to major U.S. cities, providing convenient travel options. As of September of 2020, American Airlines held 30% of the market share at the airport. Delta Air Lines is second with 30%, followed by United Airlines (13%), Allegiant (13%), and jetBlue (9%). In 2020, Allegiant began offering two new seasonal non-stop flights to Houston and St. Louis. New to the market in 2021 will be Southwest Air, adding flights to Baltimore, Chicago and Dallas among others.
